Best for replying and drafting work messages: Kloven
Kloven is the only keyboard here whose job is the message rather than the text. Its lower-rated reviews cluster on two things: output that reads more formal than intended, and upgrade prompts on the free plan. Best for grammar and tone while typing: Grammarly
Grammarly’s keyboard (the company now operates as Superhuman Platform) corrects grammar, spelling and punctuation as you type and suggests tone changes, with a free tier and Pro from $12 a month on annual billing. It is the most mature product here by a distance. Its limits for this list: it improves text you have already written rather than producing a reply from context, many suggestions sit behind Pro, and reviews mention keyboard lag. Best for offline dictation: Superwhisper
Superwhisper runs Whisper models locally, so it works offline and audio can stay on the device, and Pro (about $8.49 a month, or a lifetime licence) lets you bring your own model keys. Reviews are consistent that setup takes effort and the iPhone keyboard trails the Mac app (4.4 on iOS). For a privacy-first power user it is the right pick; for someone who wants to install a keyboard and go, it is not.
The free baseline: Apple’s built-in tools
Before installing anything, try the microphone key on the default keyboard and, on iPhones that support Apple Intelligence, Writing Tools (select text, choose Proofread or Rewrite). Dictation is fast and private; Writing Tools does a reasonable rewrite. What you do not get: filler removal tuned for speech, correction handling, replies drafted from a message you received, or channel-specific formats.
